Vapor Pressure: N/A
Solubility in Water: 77G/100G water
Appearance & Odor: Brownish-gray to white crystals or graules. Odorless.

Health Hazards
Eyes: Irritant. Flush with large amounts of water for a minimum of 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Skin: Slight irritant. Wash wiht mild soap and water.
Inhalation: Slight irritant. Provide fresh air and get medical attention if irritation persists.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth and drink large amounts of water. Get medical attention.
Overexposure
Ingestion may cause sore throat, abdominal pain, nausea, vonitming. Persons with asthma may be at increased risk from exposure to ammonium sulfate.

Employee Protection
Respiratory: A NIOSH-approved dust respirator is recommended when exposure limit is exceeded.
Eye: Safety goggles.
Ventilation: Provide ventilation for nuisance dust protection to maintain exposure below exposure limits.
Other: Other protective equipment as needed to prevent direct contact with the skin.
Fire & Explosion Hazards
Flamable levels: Non-flammable
Flash Point: N/A
Extinguishing Media: Extinguishing agent required for type of fire surrounding material.
Special Procedures: Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing. Do not spray water directly on material. Sulfur oxides and ammonia gasses may be formed in fires involving ammonium sulfate.

Stability: Stable
Materials to Avoid: Oxygen, oxidizers, peroxides, potassium choorate, potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, metal chlorates, strong bases.
Conditions to Avoid: Heating above 100°C.
